Spring Rolls


Ingredients (For about 6 Spring Rolls):
5 big Mushrooms
2 Carrots
1/2 Onion
1 handful Bean sprouts
1 sheet Filo Pastry
5 tbsp Sesame oil
4 tbsp Soy Sauce


Cut the vegetables in small squares or sticks.


Heat the pan.
Add 3 tbsp oil.
Add vegetables.


Let the vegetables fry until soft (around 10 minutes). 
Add the bean sprouts and soy sauce.
Let it cook for a further couple of minutes.


Cut the filo pastry in 20x20cm squares.


The spring roll filling is done now.


To roll the Spring rolls:
Add 2 tbsp of filling to the bottom half centre of a pastry square, leaving around 5cm of pastry free at the bottom.

1. Fold bottom 5cm over the filling.
2. Fold over the left and right side over the filling.
3. Roll up the filling as tight as possible until a roll is formed.

Heat a clean pan.
Add the remaining oil.
Fry spring rolls for 2 minutes until the filo pastry is crispy.


Serve with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce.
